The admin portal is the configuration center of the platform, where system parameters and entities are managed.

Users authorization

Controls access to the admin portal sections based on each administrator's permissions, verifying credentials before granting access.

Responsibilities

  • Verify credentials and permissions of administrators
  • Control access to management sections
  • Ensure that only authorized personnel can modify configuration

Key functionalities detailed:

  1. Access control — Authenticates and authorizes administrators before allowing management.

Geographic

Manages the geographic entities of the platform: countries, administrative divisions, and weather station locations.

  • Manage first and second-level administrative divisions
  • Manage weather station locations

Climate

Defines and manages the climate measures available in the system and their configuration per country.

Crops

Manages crop configuration: crop types, cultivars, soils, seasons, and simulation setups.

Users

Manages users and roles, synchronized with Keycloak.
