These are the foundational services that support the entire platform.
DB AClimate v3 (PostgreSQL)¶
The main database of the platform, storing all climate and agroclimatic data including catalogs, observations, indicators, and configuration.
Responsibilities
- Store catalog entities (countries, crops, soils, indicators)
- Store climate observations and aggregated data
- Store indicator results and system configuration
Key functionalities detailed:
- Main storage — Contains catalog information (countries, crops, soils, indicators).
- Observations — Stores daily, monthly, and climatological climate data.
- Indicators and configuration — Keeps indicator results and system parameters.
DB AClimate v3 Users (PostgreSQL)¶
Separate database for user information and access control, keeping user data isolated from the main climate data.
Responsibilities
- Store user information
- Store access control data
- Keep user data isolated from climate data

- User storage — Manages user accounts and profiles separately.
- Access control — Stores permissions and access levels.
